Help for emote puzzle

i dont understand how i should open this door, i put a monkey on the middle, then on the right, then on the left (with the appropriate emote) but it doesnt work

That was the only one I couldn't solve either. Unless you are a completionist, it's only 1 monkey you are missing out on and the last couple island gives a lot of monkeys. I ended with like 6 monkeys I didn't have jobs for and that was with 5 bodyguards, 2 crafters, 2 gatherers and 1 farm water boy

i know this is a bit old and i haven't been there yet, but i would suggest you put 3 monkeys left and 2 monkeys right with the corresponding emotes and do the single middle emote yourself
