Can't find any Meadow Butterfly

Where is it???? I found Badland Butterfly already. But the meadow one won't sprawn. And there is no grassland except for the star island at the start??????

They are definitely on the first island, they are not rare but they can be very difficult to spot at times.

Best way to find them is by waiting till night and find the spot of the meadow night beetles since they glow in the dark, wait till daylight and go back to that same spot and you should be able to find them, if not then the other alternative join another world just to get them.

*This could be another bug in the game that no one has yet found out*

As mentioned by Rukuro94, the Meadow butterflies should be in your starter island - 1 skull (out of 5) rated. It's not rare and is red-ish flying around. They should be flying anything during the day, but I'm guessing mid-afternoons are the best time to see them.

Hope this helps you find some, if anything, it will at least let you know that your world is 'bugged' if they are not spawning.

I create a new island and there they are! I guessed my first gameplay was bugged.

I just had the same problem. I was playing co-op and we searched the starter island multiple times without finding a single insect on the island :(

Bumping to add that THIS IS STILL BUGGED and some starter islands do not appear to have ANY BUG SPAWNS which is extremely strange LOL :D
That gets to be pretty freaking silly with some of the tasks, and even beastmaster requires shipping the animals ALL THE WAY THERE which can be halfway across the map if it's a bad spawn, THAT IS EXTREMELY STRANGE and not worth grinding for that otherwise a fun game lol
