switching boats in the ocean

i left a boat in the ocean because i died there and when i take a raft up next to it i have no way to switch back to my old raft
help?

same thing happen to me. i got as closer as can to old raft and rolling around. somehow i manage to switch to old raft. idk how in the first place died there.
