Help Finding Pterodactyl Skull

Any advice or help would be appreciated got wings and small ribs everytime hit there bones

Look in the badlands. (level 2 difficulty island). You'll sometimes see a skull (different shape) if you look around enough. If you can't find any on your badlands island, try waiting for a blood moon. I've also found that they're usually next to a fire spitter plant. Hope this helps!
