I don't know about hate, but I thought the game was a bit dry. The game play loop was only so-so, but then again its 25.00, so if you like the demo you will be fine. Looking at my play time I would say I got my moneys worth, but it doesn't stand out as one of my favorites either.

I can't speak for everybody, but I can tell you why I hated it. I spent over an hour in the game and then realized I can't seem to save. Or manage my completely full inventory. I was just throwing stuff on the ground in order to pick up new stuff. No idea how to store it for the future.

The focus of the beginning hour is all wrong. Who cares about stupid monkeys when you can't even save the game or manage your inventory properly!

I really wanted to love the game, the graphics and atmosphere seemed fantastic. But no, after completely wasting an hour and not being able to save I got a refund from Steam.

There was a lot of small things that were very annoying, too (Awkward kb+m control scheme) but not being able to save... Like c'mon man! Cut the malarkey and just let me save the game!

You can craft bed for saving progress. and Chest for saving item.
I mean. arent that kinda the basic on survival game?
It's either save everywhere, or you need a bed kinda thing for save point.
And chest for storing things?

In the first hour, no you cannot. I get that you like the game, that's great, but denying the obvious does not help.

I could craft the green item that I need to use IN a bed, however I could not craft a bed. I also could not craft a chest.

After an hour of playing, I couldn't do either of those things.

Show me a screenshot then, 'cause I don't believe you. When I pressed C, I had unlocked the entire crafting menu that was shown (All the grayed-out icons were filled. There were no more icons in the grid left) and there was no bed.

As I said before, the only thing I could make was the green roll that I needed to sleep IN a bed. There was no bed at all in the crafting menu and nothing explained how to make one.

So if it's so easy, please load up a new game and screenshot it for us. I'd love to see what I missed. If it's that obvious I'll gladly use my refunded money and buy the game again (And change my review of it, too).... But quite frankly I'm calling BS until I see some proof (From a new game lol don't show me you making a bed in your +100 hour game or whatever hehe).

When you are in game, if you closely (that's a joke, it's obvious) look at the corner of your screen (top left) you will see some icon with the corresponding letter (or sign, if controller) assigned to the hotkey required to open each main menu.
One icon looks like a blueprint.
When something looks like a blueprint in a video game, it's usually either an item you use to learn a new recipe or something related to building. That remind me that if I wanted to have a bed, I'd try to build it, not craft it.

Not saying it's not stupid, the way they made it. 'cause it is. Especially when you need to use the blanket over a bed after you buid it.

Personally, this game checks all the right boxes. Deep content, crafting and exploration is very well done. 16 bit pixel Valheim without the hard-core aggro up your @$$ all the time. Proc gen keeps it fresh. That said, some systems could use some more meat and potatoes. (Farming, fishing and building is a bit limited in variety imo and no armor!?) Monkey automation is convoluted. None of this detracts from the fun too much and Right now this game is a favorite for me. Worth it even at full price.
