Report a translation problem
I tested it just now in my game, went into the blueprint menu (R I think), then changed to Destroy mode with F and click the item you want to destroy with the mouse. If that doesn't work .. might be a bug? Unless some other commenter has another idea I haven't considered.
Its very inconvenient that the host has to destroy things for you, especially when he is not near the base.
Only the host can destroy things, you all have to build the same things to expand your tech trees so they'll be multiple of each buildings, crafting stations etc.
It's probably better to play it single player for a couple of hours to unlock everything then start coop with friends otherwise you'll have masses of stuff everywhere.
thus far the multiplayer has been fine thus far. out of all the buildings only the table has been non destructable.
