Play Match - Attack Priority and Push Lane Question

Soo, can anyone explain the Push Lane option? I don't really know if it makes a difference or not. With it pressed or not the lane (BOT) gets about 30-40% of the attacks anyway.

Could the developer or someone who tested this through explain what is the attack chance of every lane based on? Is it the stats of the player, the type of champion, the stats of the enemy?

Or is it just based on chance, like all lanes have 25% chance of being chosen for attack and if you push lane it just ups the chance a little like to 40%, 20%, 20%, 20%?

I've noticed that every 4 turns is a jungle attack, every 10 turns is a round, so you'll get 3 to 7 (depending on your chemistry) attacks during those rounds.
