Two endgame questions, spoilers I guess
1. I talked to the turtle and agreed to save her eggs, then went to the dungeon. When I got to the egg encounter, I chose the option "avoid combat by pretending to be chefs." There was no further description of the encounter, it just ended and the dungeon continued. I didn't get a "Turtle Eggs" card or anything. I went back to talk to the turtle and I couldn't tell her anything about the eggs. So... did I save them or not?? I thought I'd sneakily steal them, did I actually decide to ditch the quest by pretending to be chefs? I just wanted to help :(

2. Is there any reason to stick around on the final map past when you can finish the final questline, or should you just win ASAP because there's no point to "grinding" here?

1. The eggs are not in the kitchen but in the next room - which is a basement full of monsters
2. Not really any use for grinding - just complete the game as soon as you can.

...So I didn't save them. I wish the encounter had made that clear in the option text. :(

Well I suppose that means it's time to start a new campaign specifically to save the eggs. :D

Damn, I did the same thing, thinking it would continue from there, but instead I kept getting generic rooms until all my students were vaporized by demons. Good to know I need to go full assault here...

For me it's a point of pride to finish the last level on 3 stars, but it doesn't give you anything beyond the value you tell yourself it has.
