How to get hermit crab? Curious

Drawn over 600 nature cards and no hermit crabs.
Location Swamp
I have skipped herbalist, portal, observatory, and prison rooms.

I've only gotten it VERY rarely after events with factions.

Hermit crab is one of the cards that need to be unlocked by a challenge in campaign mode.

Do you remember which event? I've gotten it before but can't find it now, I remember having at least 2 as well. Maybe it was a dungeon event?

Which challenge, also I've gotten it on a different run without unlocking challenges.

It is not impossible to get it without a challenge - I think it is during the event where the student representative alerts you that the students are using the guinea pigs to have some sort of contest, and you then bet on one of them.
Sorry - my challenge cards have all reset for some reason after the v1.0 update x_x probably because I deleted my old savegames. I don't remember which one it was from.

There's one guaranteed way to get all the 6 bonus cards. (putting it in spoilers cause its about the final level of a campaign)

In the last level of a campaign with the turtle, there's a side-quest offered by the turtle if you use the option to talk to it about whether it's the last of it's kind. You need some way to prove trust (one of three options) to get to the part where you get sent on a quest in a new dungeon that shows up on the map. You're required to reach threat 30 in the dungeon and then go through a fight or two in a dungeon encounter related to the quest. As a reward for clearing that, you get all 6 bonus cards that otherwise need a challenge to be unlocked. There is also a achievement related to this side quest, shouldn't be hard to guess which one - though I intentionally left out any lore details of the quest.

Aside from that, most of the bonus cards (not sure if I've seen all of them yet) can be rarely obtained as reward to some event or (more commonly) dungeon encounter. This made the reveal when I beat the first challenge and the two bonus cards got revealed kinda disappointing, cause I was expecting 2 new cards I hadn't seen in the game yet.

@Rappeldrache: Do you have the card unlocked? because they will only appear in the stack, after you completed the right challenge in a previous campaign.
