i also do recommend that you look at other guides on here since they give you nice information about obtaining all shrines and everything else you need!
i know it's a grind really and also time consuming, but make sure you upgrade all 4 of your skills! because the umbrella is the weakest weapon in this game and it'll be harder to do it if you don't upgrade it
good luck! you can do it!
Hope this isnt too late!
Then you shouldn't get the trophy. They're for people who put in the time and earn them...not for lazy bums who think they should get a platinum for every game they play.
I hope you don't actually believe this crap because I sure don't. Spare me your image crafting. Your time is clearly not that precious and you're wasting your time no matter which game you play.
And I don't care if you "would rather spend my free time" on whatever else. You don't get the platinum for doing this. Plain and simple. You feel like you should be entitled to it for some reason. No one's saying you can't do something else...but you shouldn't be rewarded for being a quitter.
>than to play the same thing 100 times
You're weird. No one who thinks this way about any game should care about trophies or achievements. Why would anyone this lazy about completion also care about the rewards for completion?
Too many words to admit you are too bad to get it on your own so you feel entitled for the Platinum.
And no, you don't need to play the game a 100 times for 6 to 10 hours each to get it. You only need to finish the game one more time with it which will take you less than 3 hours. And if you think 3 hours is "too much time" to invest on a Platinum trophy then you might as well consider every game a waste of time since there are barely any games that take less than 2 hours to complete.
We didn't say is shameful, we said is lazy and entitled to keep saying things like this:
"I would not want to replay it and spend 6-10 hours on it again, so I would like to make my life easier. I value my time and prefer to spend my free time on some other no less interesting game than to play the same thing 100 times."
All while still demanding to get a Platinum because you 'deserve' not to do all of that simply for an achievement and ironically claiming you are not lazy just for wanting a way to skip everything to get the hardest achievement.
I'm a completionist myself, and i understand all too well the feeling of an achievement that asks me to do some long thing i don't find interesting at all.
There's no irony here; OP just wanted to not do some boring thing because they didn't want to have just a few achievements missing.
When i had to do the second playthrough, i could safely say from the start that none of it would be made especially interesting by having a less damaging melee weapon, and it certainly wasn't going to be difficult for me.
Takes time, and isn't very interesting. In other words, it's a waste of time.
Having just a few achievements missing can be frustrating, though. Especially when said achievements are a waste of time.
Having better things to do isn't "being lazy".
In addition, this is a singleplayer game. You don't get to insult/criticize someone because they want to play a singleplayer game while skipping some stuff or making the game easier or anything like that.
Of course, this is about an achievement, and achievements contribute to global statistics, so one could say the achievement part is multiplayer. (If you would not make that argument, please skip the rest of this post.)
However, even ignoring other problems with that, the global achievement statistics are broken and biased by too many things to be in any way accurate or useful.
Bugs preventing the unlocking of achievements, game duration bias (the fact that one of the largest determinants for how many people unlock an achievement is how far into the game it is), the fact that some people never actually play games but still affect the statistics, the fact that some games add some achievements post-release... Is this enough examples?
Even Valve doesn't care about the accuracy of those statistics.
I mean, they updated how new games are supposed to tell Steam to unlock achievements in a way that prevents older Proton versions from telling Steam to unlock achievements, even though they can still run many games fine and sometimes even better than newer Proton versions!
You seem to care about how other people play singleplayer games despite the fact it doesn't affect you at all.
OP had a good reason to not want to take the time to do something that would be mostly pointlessly repetitive. You on the other hand have no good reason to attack them for any of it.
SAD!
