So the game thinks i adjusted my clock
I didn't do anything of the sort... is it because I have the 10x multiplyer off from the hourglass?

Sent to eternal dungeon for trying to manipulate time
I logged into my laptop from the lock screen and got a screen saying
"You have been sent to this eternal dungeon for trying to manipulate time"
I haven't changed anything to do with the system time. Just had the game open while my laptop was on standby and locked.
I had left it opening a door I was told not to so not sure if it was that or an anti cheat test getting confused?

Cheers,
Mike

did you have the game running when your laptop adjusted for DST? it was a day or two ago.
anyway

can you let us know what is going on in that room? Is there like a timer you have to wait?

Lots of computers have time set that is not accurate. There may also be differences for time zones. Perhaps you switched to a computer that had its internal clock ahead of the previous computer?

The developer is doing a great job trying to maintain this kind of thing, I'd expect maybe there is a little slack in the check, but I could easily see it being eclipsed.

Looking forward to an update!

Hello, I installed the game Tuesday morning, so no timezone switch.
All on the same laptop and the laptop was only sleeping for a couple of hours, so same day. This happened while the game was left open.
Checking now, my clock matches the time here to the second https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/uk/london . I know for sure prior to it sleeping, it was around that accurate because it matches my phone time and I had used the clock on both that day. So it wasn't a clock changing thing.

The cheat check must just be incompatible with sleeping your computer. If it makes a note of the time when the game starts and ticks along counting up, then yeah the internal counter won't match the time on the computer when it wakes back up.

I think for now I will just make sure I don't have the game open somewhere when I put my laptop in sleep mode for lunch and stuff. I wouldn't normally have a game left open when I do, but this is a nice background task game so often ends up behind work windows.

I was just 'put in the dungeon' but I never touched my date and time settings.
I was just put into the dungeon for "trying to manipulate time itself", but I haven't touched my date and time settings. I never so much as looked at them. I was in the middle of reading Moby ♥♥♥♥ in-game and it suddenly just put me in the dungeon with no warning, which kind of ruins my immersion. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known bug?

This happened to me probably around the same time as you. I think there was just a little hiccup with the Anti-Cheat system. I'd say just continue as if nothing happened.

Please Help
So i went idle for a while and when i came back my shade was locked to a ball and chain and said something about altering the timer and said that if i do it again itll wipe my game. i didnt do anything, i just had it running in the backround as i played a different game and now im afraid of it randomly happening again and wiping for no reason

So this happened to me but a little different. I got locked to the ball and chain while i was walking down the hall, It sent me to this place until I clicked 400 times. After I clicked 400 times it kicked me out of the game. When I came back I was in my house and nothing had changed. I think this just happens sometimes while playing the game. Although I find it interesting that we both got sent to the same place and had to do two different things to get out. Maybe this will happen throughout the game. Anyway not sure if this helped but if it did I wish you the best of luck on your 400 days!

how do we fix it

I have the same issue, I minimized my game to watch netflix and when I came back I was imprisoned. I really hope this can get fixed because I like this game but I don't want to spend another 18 hours getting back to where I was.

I was just playing my gd flugelhorn and it dumped me into the dungeon. I figured that was a mechanic, so I let it be.

if the game thinks you changed the clock it basically breaks the game
