"You have been sent to this eternal dungeon for trying to manipulate time"
I haven't changed anything to do with the system time. Just had the game open while my laptop was on standby and locked.
I had left it opening a door I was told not to so not sure if it was that or an anti cheat test getting confused?
Cheers,
Mike
can you let us know what is going on in that room? Is there like a timer you have to wait?
The developer is doing a great job trying to maintain this kind of thing, I'd expect maybe there is a little slack in the check, but I could easily see it being eclipsed.
Looking forward to an update!
All on the same laptop and the laptop was only sleeping for a couple of hours, so same day. This happened while the game was left open.
Checking now, my clock matches the time here to the second https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/uk/london . I know for sure prior to it sleeping, it was around that accurate because it matches my phone time and I had used the clock on both that day. So it wasn't a clock changing thing.
The cheat check must just be incompatible with sleeping your computer. If it makes a note of the time when the game starts and ticks along counting up, then yeah the internal counter won't match the time on the computer when it wakes back up.
I think for now I will just make sure I don't have the game open somewhere when I put my laptop in sleep mode for lunch and stuff. I wouldn't normally have a game left open when I do, but this is a nice background task game so often ends up behind work windows.
Luckily it didn't keep me imprisoned.... i hope it doesn't happen again.
Imprisoned? Is there something I should be aware off? Ive only bought the game today.
