Quotes in the diary ("hall of eternity" and "Use of time")

In the Shade's diary there are some quotes that are clues of what the Shade can do. When he puts into practice one of those quotes those are erased. For example, there's a quote about building a bed, when it's done, the relative quote is erased.
There are two quotes that I can't erase. The first one: "Just a fool tries to reach the end of eternity". The second one: "I have a plenty of time. I should use it".
How I could use these clues to erasing the relative quotes?

I haven't finished the game yet, so it's pure guesswork: Based on what the Face says about what will happen after 400 days, I think the end of eternity might be the end of the game when time stops and there's no more longing.

I'm not exactly sure about these, but I have finished the game and I don't believe Flen's suggestion is accurate. Some suggestions:

For the 'Eternity' line: Have you tried simply walking a distance in the Halls? There are interesting things to discover there...

For the 'plenty of time': I think this one is tied to objects in your room. Try interacting with the hourglass. I assume you've already used the fireplace and the drawing table, but these also effect time. Playing the musical instrument can also effect time.Perform a depressing melody: you can play 4 different notes by placing your cursor at different elevations on the screen, high, high-mid, low-mid, low. Play these from high to low to advance time.
