qt qtwebengineprocess running in task manager after exiting game?

This process continues to run in task manager after exiting the game, taking up high cpu usage and causing my laptops fans to spin. I've traced it back to the civ 5 launchpad folder within steamaps. Is there any way to prevent this from happening without manually ending the task?

I haven't found a way to do it. This isn't the only steam game to do this either. I just close the steambootstrapper.exe and that solves the problem. You have to relaunch steam if you want to play another steam game though.
