My Civ 5 UI won't work?

The user interface goes completely whack on me now, and I can't give units orders or select city production. The game was working perfectly in vanilla until I installed (and later uninstalled) a community patch. I've tried just about everything - Reinstalling Civ, deleting the civ My Games folder, verifying game cache, unsubbing to mods, updating my drivers etc. Help would be much appreciated. I'll also post my specs if need be.

First screenshot reveals that you have Enhanced User Interface used, because the image of Alexander is different from normal (matches to what EUI's newest versions does) and there is a black box for the text in the right side, but text is not there. An another image shows no EUI components there. So, my best quess would be EUI, though only hint about it is that larger image of the leader.

Are you trying to play an old vanilla scenario with EUI? Those old scenarios haven't been working with EUI very well. Also, do you have all DLCs? I don't know how well EUI works with just vanilla version of the game, but it has had some problem with vanilla scenarios.
I have all DLC's and have tried with and without, I also did get EUI but it was only after the UI problem in hopes of fixing it. I deleted my local Civ folder under My Games to get rid of all mods and uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times, but that hasn't worked in changing the UI back to normal.

EDIT: Fixed! The uninstallation of the game did not get rid of the DLC's, EUI counted as one and that's what I missed reading in the help section for the mod. Thanks dude! Wouldn't have caught that otherwise.

You're welcome. Glad you get it working. EUI is little bit different than most other mods, because it's installed manually to the DLC folder (where your Steam/Civ V is installed), not in your "my documents" folder. That makes it to appear in non-mod games too. The game can't be fully uninstalled trough Steam only, so it can leave some bits behind.
