have you cleaned the cache folder in documents/my games / civ 5 ?
try deleting the cache , mod user data , mods folder , (make sure you unsubscribed the mods on steam before doing this) and download the mods again.
If you are using some high end Pc then limiting the max fps to 60 could also help if the issue is the GPU.
I had crashes every 15 turns and sometimes the saves were corrupted , however that fixed itself when I downloaded mods , and profile inspector.
Try to play with those mods enabled in game not on steam (I use those mods)

Make sure you installed your civ 5 and steam files in D drive not C drive.
Make sure you don't have extra files from uninstalling.
Make sure you are not using super old potato PC since yes the game would load but after certain time the low end PC can't handle the AI size and can't handle the calculations of AI resulting in crash.
* I use NVIDIA profile inspector to limit max fps to 60 and turn off the graphics texture filters. (it makes no difference in graphics since well this is civ 5 not a 2022 RPG game, and it does reduce GPU usage, if I remember correctly it went down by 10-12% after the filters were turned off)
*you can limit to max 40 fps if you can't see difference in fps and want more performance
I have all DLC enabled , I don't know if that makes any difference but most DLC are required for mods usage anyway.
* I have cloud save turned off , and steam overlay turned off
* I am using windows 10
* I have 8 GB RAM
*After turn 300 there are always crashes for me every 50-100 turns after each crash happens , however nothing is corrupted and I can just load back in and continue to play and the next crash would only happen after another 50-100 turns.
*Keep in mind that I am playing those mods on Hot Seat with 2 players on the same PC which is not supported by those mods as I am aware and in theory it should crash me more often than it does.
* If you don't care about hot seat and if you just want to play solo with AI then you should ignore the first two mods on picture and go with the last two (only Iska's mods)
Since the first two are used to work with Hot seat. (They do cause some minor conflict so its best to use only Iska's mods if you can.)
*I am using super old GPU and I am using an laptop that is over 10 years old not PC with graphics card GTX 660M and I don't lag or overheat the laptop. My GPU usage with those mods on 400 turn with Hot seat is about 40-60% usage. When I am playing on Giant map with 6 AI + me + hot seat enabled (I usually play 4-8 hours every day on free time with a friend and there is no overheat or lag.)
So I assume you must have much better GPU which should reduce your crashes, and if you play without hot seat then it might not even crash at all.
If you have windows 11 then there is a lot of guide on this game forum of how to proceed.
* avoid the DX 9 option from the launcher,
* there are files in , documents/my games/ civ 5 that allow you to change the game graphic options and disable the textures, and turn on the debug menu. maybe that can help or at least show you some error message before crash. (I left those alone without changing anything , however it is there if needed)
* I play in window mode not full screen since it would 100% crash during a talk with city state if you play in fullscreen.
* I play with 16-18 city states
* I play on earth maps
* I save every 20 turns so I can load back without worrying about crash.
* my max turns in game play was 600 something turns after that I got bored because I was close to end game, Therefore I started new game again with higher difficulty , Therefore I don't know if there are any issues past 600 something turns (I don't remember exact number I finished on I am only sure that it was past 600 turns , however not past the 700 turns.)
* I have 354 hours on this game and 99% of it is me playing with those mods, I don't have 1000+ hours in this game so this is my view based on little hours I played.
