Soundtrack Location
Anyone know where the base game soundtrack file location? I only found G&K and BNW soundtrack in my game folder.

Original game's soundtrack was available only for the Deluxe Edition as a bonus and is located in the corresponding DLC folder: "..:\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC\DLC_Deluxe\Soundtrack". I'm not sure if it was ever added to any later compilations (GOTY/Gold/Complete) or was it left available only for Deluxe version owners. Deluxe (or Digital Deluxe) was the preorder version of the original game, but was also available still few months after the release of the game, as I got mine February 2011.

If I remember right they were in Steam's game folder. I'm not on my PC right now so I can't give you the default address, but it should be something like C:/Program Files/Steam and so forth.

Thanks for the answer. Seems like they didn't add them to Complete Version, since I don't see any soundtrack folder in the Deluxe folder

Have you checked in this folder and its subfolders (adjust for your installation location):
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\Sounds\Streamed\Music

I don’t have the Soundtrack folder in the Deluxe folder containing MP3 music, but the second folder has all the game music in its subfolders in Ogg Vorbis format. I mean, the game has to have the soundtrack present for you to be able to hear it while you’re playing. You can play the .ogg files with VLC or convert them to some other format.

Looks like you're right. Found them. Thank you very much
