Peace and Prosperity achievement not working?

I have started a lot of golden ages but the achievement still hasn't unlocked.

Been wondering the same, haven't got it even though have started several of them with Great Artists and Happiness.

You must only get golden ages from happiness. Getting one from a great person, social policy, wonder, etc disables it.

I didn't know this but I'm sure I've got several golden ages only by happiness.

I tried every possible way, and multiple times with no luck.
Anyway, I found a forum with achievement saves, I loaded the save and in the next move I was able to get the achievement... If anyone want the saved game just contact me, I will be happy to point out the direction.

Check the CivFanatics forums, FeiLing has a thread with achievements saves there. I don't have a direct link off hand but I don't think it would be hard to find.

solved it. To get this achievement you must disable all DLC. I just then got a Golden age via happiness and unlocked. (cannot confirm if social unlocks)

That's so strange, because I've had to play as America in vanilla without getting the Flying Fortress acheivement, then again in G&K without getting it, and finally got the achievement after bombing a city with a B-17 in BNW. So weird how some acheivements require the expansions to complete, and some require them to be disabled to complete.

That's so strange, because I've had to play as America in vanilla without getting the Flying Fortress acheivement, then again in G&K without getting it, and finally got the achievement after bombing a city with a B-17 in BNW. It didn't give me the Flying Fortress & i've got BnW installed.

Yes mate, just disable all dlc and it will pop for you when you get it, should only take a short time
