Multiplayer bug: Player see different maps when playing Europe

tl;dr: We can't play Europe in Multiplayer, players will see different maps.

We just wasted 2 hours with Civ 5, but not with playing. My gf and I wanted to play the Europe map in multiplayer over internet, I opened the game as I did so many times before. But after the first round, a loading screen appeared and after that my gf said that she now was in completely different location.
This happened once before, the other way around, but I don't remember the circumstances anymore. So we started a new game, same thing. Only that her Civ 5 crashed during the loading screen.
We tried again, the same. From that moment on, we described each others starting locations (we played as a team against other AI teams) and they were always different. For example, she saw me on the coast with whales, but I was in the forest with copper.

We started games with different setting until we found the problem: Europe

Settings we kept the same:

No name, private match

Victory conditions: all except time
Quick Combat
Quick Movement
DLCs
G&K, everything except Korea

We then had 8 players, my gf and me team 1, immortal, me Austria and her Celts
6 AIs in teams of two, random leader

Map: Europe, Size: Large
always different maps, loading screen after first round, sometimes it crashed after that.

Map: Europe, Size: Standard
same

Map: Small Continents, Size: Large
no problems, we played until round 10 to verify.


When we had the problem, not only did we see different surroundings, we also were in completely different locations. I saw her in the far east of me, but she saw me directly north of her.

We lost motivation then to test other map types, but Europe sure didn't work a single time.
Sounds like a bugs to me.

And yes, we both verified our game files, it didn't change anything.


Anything to say to this from someone official?

Wasted so many hours tonight trying to get a LAN game set up. Did Europe every time and it was also the problem.
