How do I get uranium?

Okay I am very new just bought the game a day ago and I would like to make nuclear weapons but I down know how to find uranium. Can someone tell me how to find uranium.

I'd check the other Civs and see if they have uranium and try to trade for it. Or, if it is early on, you should be able to scout around and build a city near some. Hope this helped!

Uranium is revealed on the map after you have recearched the atomic theory in the atomic ERA. Then you have to produce Manhattan project which enables building of nuclear weapons, but you have to research nuclear fission to be able to produca an atomic bomb and later you can research advanced balllistics for building nuclear missiles.

If you already have the right technologies, then you just have to find the uranium deposits. They are rare, but you can normally find uranium more in closer to the north and south poles.

If you don't have Gods and Kings or Brave New World, then Atomic Theory will be in the Modern Era along with Nuclear Fission and Advanced Ballistics. Uranium will be the green cracks in the ground.
