Sound Glitch

I am playing a hotseat game with some of my friends and we encountered this weird glitch where if your units move, and if you either go into windows mode, or end the turn before the unit is TOTALLY finished moving, the unit movement sound keeps playing in that area, even after that unit has completely moved away from the area. I have found no way to fix this. Even when you go to the Civ V menu screen, the movement sound still plays. I reload the game, and it's still there. These have constantly ruined my games with my friends. Does anyone know how to fix this glitch without having to start a brand new game?
