Manufactory

Hello! I'm trying to figure something out...is it true that it's more beneficial to build a manufactory on a hill then flat land? That's all. Thanks!

I very seldom build them. When I do, I like to set them on a tile that gives a food.

It depends on what you want; the Manufactory will give 4 production plus whatever the land underneath it gives.

So putting it on top of wheat would be good. (a farm only adds 1 food to wheat, which is 3 food to start with)

i always put manufactorys on hills as its a production tile, try putting it on a bonus or stratigic resource next to a river to make it a great tile
