I thought the AI usually won't agree peace with you for 10 turns.
It varries from AI to AI, and also depends on how much damage you've done to them (Killed units or captured cities)
Some AIs are extremely stubborn about making Peace unless you're completely stomping them into the ground.
Some will ask for peace after you kill a few units.
To clear up things. The other civ doesn't get upset about the peace deal at all... that war agreement just blocks peace deal option for set amount of turns.
