it simply does not work, it still gives the 'version problem'...
While i do not have a mac, this ridiculous move by Aspyr has efficiently stopped me from playing with my friend online.
I will not by buying or playing ANYTHING from aspyr/2kgames until this problem is fixed.
They never ever bothered fixing it.
But took the money...
Someone should.
But Steam is partly responsible.
I have been suggesting Steam to offer a "can my computer run that game or not" feature, before bying anything foolish.
And that feature could, should be extanded to updates...
A warning would have been welcome, and a safety system able to disable the auto-update in that sort of risky circumstances would have been a great idea.
We all learn from mistakes.
That's how I learned almost everything I know today myself...
