Greatest jerk in your game.

There is always that one civ that just drives you up a wall. Mine was France always spawning a massive army while im trying to just run a country. What's your worst civ and why?

France is a huge jerk to me, too. He just loves to declare war on just about everyone. However mine would have to be Arabia. In almost every game I play with Arabia he builds a wall of tiny little cities to close me in and bar me from entering his half of a continent or whatever half of the map he's claimed. Harun Al-Rashid doesn't exactly declare war on me but he sure does like to slap me in the face a thousand other ways.

I tend to play scientific for a while before I go to war, but ive noticed that there is Always one civ who does absoutly everything to stop my science. That same civ always votes nay to my proposals, even world fair...

Ghandi is an warmongerer, Greece keeps insulting me and we constantly fight over city-states, while France just plain annoys me because they are always behind my tail, which means I can't let my guard down. Plus, they steal wonders from me.

Arabia is a real pain. sending great prophets and missionaries my way. I end up at war with him more often then not because of it. Although his religious zeal has taught me how to fight a holy war in other games

I always try to be the jerk... but usually not until at least the Renaissance era. I'm very nice until I decisively gain the upper hand. :-) (the turtle turns out to be a big snapping turtle -- or an alligator)

If anyone is unaware keeping a inquisitioner inside a city prevents missonaries from acting on it. Just park some inquisitioners in your cities and missionary/GP spam becomes useless.

Catherine of Russia. That bipolor harlot. We were the BEST OF FRIENDS until her period happened and all of the sudden WAR. I don't get it. Maybe she doesn't like that the majority of my allies are middle eastern.

In my last game France started out as the biggest jerk, randomly declaring war on me very early on and repeatedly through the early game. Unfortunately for him Japan was right on his other side, and while he was busy harassing me, Japan totally destroyed him.

Ironically, when I took his cities back from Japan, I liberated them instead of taking them for myself, and he effectively became my closest ally for the rest of the game.

Aside from general aggression, I've found England to be a pretty big jerk. Elizabeth never wants to trade fairly, and starts denouncing everyone else in the world until everyone bands together to wipe her out.

Let's see. Current game is Ceaser, who has done nothing but war with his neighbors and grow his empire through attrition while leave huge gaps in lan and resources between cities, not even bothering to settle any of it. Finally got tired of his crap and swept across his entire land while his squeemishly comparative of a military was off harassing an ally. Needless to say, I got him down to four cities and he handed me three for peace.

He has since shut up and kept to himself. Next target is everyone else, cause seriously, noone likes me. EVERYONE denounced me and I still didn't care. Massive industry and science from industry means I'm the dragon noone wants to poke physically.
