Custom maps won't load

I made a map, it is blank other than I placed some natural wonders. The game load screen comes up the voice explaining the leader and music works fine but than it just loads forever and won't open

If the map is indeed blank other than natural wonders and sea tiles, the answer is in the question. Most likely the game knows that since you cannot estabolish cities on natural wonder tiles, there will be no place for you to found your capital. Try putting one or two normal tiles. If that fails my answer is null and void.

Sorry should have phrased that differently, I have tiles, snow, tundra, grassland, etc. they just are blank like no resources or cities or that stuff so the game should just load everything randomly

I've made several maps and I get this almost every time. Randomly generated maps load quickly and without error. Even a generated custom map with only light modification will load. But if I try to do more than a few changes it just won't load anymore...

Got the same problem, edited one of the Gods and Kings earth maps, and now it just wont start, keeps on loading forever. I've been trying for hours to make it work.
