No fullscreen?

so i just got the humble bundle, only to find it wont run full screen?!
surely this cant be right?
if any1 has a solution i would apprieciate it a lot.

My game defaults to full screen. Have you checked the options menu? Under video options you should be able to tick full screen on or off.

Which windows are you on? You might want to try launching in a different direct x version (you can pick from the launcher menu) and see if that helps. I have no idea bud.

check your resoultion settings? should be set to the same resolution as your desktop.

i have tried this...and still nothing,im gettin a little aggravated with this thing now, my desktop res appears but will not go fullscreen,alt return does nothing,clicking FULLSCREEN does ....guess what....nothing

Civ V doesn't have normal fullscreen. It has somekind of special borderless window fake-fullscreen. Resolution must be the same as the screen's native resolution, not the windows resolution, which is kind of odd. Other wise you get black borders or image is cut.

So, it's very sensitive to anything abnormal, because it's not using any normal method for fullsceen. What video card you have and what resolution screen you have? Do you have any software related to windows arrangment or something like that?

i have tried editing the inis to force fullscreen and i got squat....so basicly every game i have run FS but this "game" has to be different and run windowed...how can this pass as accepable? you lose immersion factor with my damn taskbar staring at me the whole time....what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rip off!

got amd hydra vision i seem to have got shot of taskbar by turning it off,but still is not the point my gear is capable of running any game fullscreen, so why does this not have native fullscreen? very strange for this day and age

so its still unplayable as the bottom part of the screen is cut off so i cant access any tab/fuction at bottom of screen.......this game is TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, I won't. I'll put that game into my "trash" category which includes GTA IV, Spiral Knights, CitiesXL, Max Payne 3, Left4Dead2, Far Cry 3 etc.
