But BNW is pretty sweet. Loads of civs, new mechanics, improved mechanics, etc. If I recall, I think there's a gold edition fairly cheap that includes everything, so I'd go for that. There's even an option to upgrade existing versions, if I'm not mistaken (though it's entirely possible I am.)
EDIT: Looking at the store page, the complete edition is $50 (I don't know if there ever was, or is an upgrade version. I vaguely recall it, but it has been too long, and if there is, get that, obviously) whereas G&K and BNW are both $30 each, which is ridiculously overpriced, but it is what it is, and you'd clearly be better off, even if you already own the game, to buy the complete edition, rather than both of them separate.
Besides a few civs, BNW adds everything G+K added, along with all its own new features.
BNW is an absolute requirement. The game without the expansions is absolutely horrendous, on so many levels. On top of that, the expansions aren't just new gameplay elements, but patches too.
So basically, wait for a huge sale.
