Can't build plantation (cant' get sugar, dyes, etc)
I'm already in medieval age, so all the techs have been researched. I've also chopped down jungle, etc if needed, but I still don't get the option to get these resources. I'm the Persians.

any idea why?

Could you possibly take a screenshot of your tech tree and of the city (and the tile)?

Just need to check, are the resources in your borders?

Yes they are pizzaman. Yeah honestly I'm stumped..not sure what the heck the problem is.

like the dyes are literally one tile beside my actual city.

Maybe its a bug

Maybe you've already improved the tile, but its showing the wrong texture?

I've also found this bug. If you made a worker before you discovered calendar, then that worker seems unable to build plantations. Had it on 3 games now, all with mods so it could be to do with how they interact with the game script.

Check your XML and LUA logs.

You could have eaten the happyness it has given already without noticing due to overgrowth in your main or expanding to settle/conquer other cities.

(hover over your happyness count and it'll give you a tooltip of everything contributing to it - resources, local city improvements + policies)
