Well if you launch it in DX11, your settings won't get reset. I was noticing that problem too, but that's because the shortcut launches in DX9, and DX9 apparently can't remember what the user tells it to do with the settings. Derp.
I have that set in the launch settings. Click play in the library not the shortcut still happens idk.
I have it set to DX11. No matter what I do it keeps resetting.
However, you can use the old way to circumvent the launcher, to launch directly into a specific executable. In Windows, take the following steps:
Between points 5 and 6 make no sense. After you "copy as path" you say "Make sure your cursor is at the end of what you just pasted" I didn't paste anything but "copy as path". Sorry but I'm lost.

Only thing is "Copy-as-path" was not an option when right clicking the executable in Step 5. Maybe it's a Windows 10 thing. Instead, I created a shortcut to it, opened the shortcut properties and copied the path from there.
Didn't work for Win10 , there is no "Copy-as-path", just "Copy".
