Does caravansary's +2 gold benefit work on city states?
On Civilopedia[www.dndjunkie.com] I found the following description:
Originally posted by Civilopedia:
Land trade routes originating from this city have a 50% increase in range and produce an additional 2 gold when connecting to another civilization.
I tried to google it myself but found contradicting answers, and wikia didn't give any detailed explanation either. Has anyone experimented it in-game?

Also, given that Civilopedia is not that helpful, is there any source/reference you would recommend?

Thank you for your help.

Can anyone point out a source/wiki/website that can help us on this kind of sutble questions? Wikia doesn't really have much in-depth information.

civfanatics could probably help.
This one's easy enough to check yourself, though. Just get a Caravan, see how much money it gets from a route, then buy the Caravansary, and see that it increased by 2 (also, when you mouse over it, the gold breakdown will say 2 gold from buildings in source city)

Thanks for the reply! I did look up civfanatics and could only find some forum posts about it. I will use your method to check it in game.
