Agree but the music from Civ IV is better than Civ V. The game's theme music, "Baba Yetu," won a Grammy.

I wanted to agree but then I remembered that I copied Baba Yetu to the Civ5 starting music.
So knighttemplar is also right Civ IV music > Civ V music > Civ VI music

I'll take your word for it, I've never heard the VI tunes

Never played Civ IV. My first PC Game was literally Civ V :healthyhearthling:

Don’t think I’ve heard any of the game music because I’ll turn it off. Either because I listen to my own music, or I want the ease of switching focus when switching to other tasks.

I’d expect that most people turn game music off to listen to their own, so publisher puts progressively less effort into the musical scores. I guess there isn’t a mod to use music from an older game?

Regardless, the irony of answering the OP’s post is that they probably turn off the music for their Twitch streaming.

Nothing can beat Civ IV music, narration, and even the quotes were more intellectual.

thats true, quotes are getting much less inspiring. Makes me really miss Alpha Centauri.

Sogno di Volare from Civ VI is my favorite main theme of the series (edging out Baba Yetu because it isn't overtly religious). But the in-game music in Civ V easily beats the in-game music in Civ VI.

In Swahili:
____

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

?

It is The Lord's Prayer adapted for singing.
We have a similar song based on that prayer in Dutch in our Church.

Edit:
Another magnificent adaptation by Peter Hollens & Malukah:
