Question on Fortifications
If I build a fort in rough terrain does it get the bonus from that too? And what about if its in trees NOT on a hill? Jungle? If so we could be looking of a defence bonus of 75% right here not even including the fortified bonus from units who have sat ina spot for 2 turns

I suppose.

Doesn't building Forts remove the Forest or Jungle?
A Fort will clear the tile of jungle, forest, or marsh. Yes, they do stack with the defensive bonus from hills, though.

I built a ton of fortications in my last game and non of them removed the jungle or forest. By a ton I mean 11 trees that were in my empires borders so I could place Units with nothing to do in them

The super fortification does though. The one from generals
A worker needs to clear the forest or jungle on a tile unless constructing a trading post, camp, or (obviously) a lumber mill. Thus, you cannot build a fort on a forested hill and have it remain a forested hill.
