Possible to reload graphics?
Been playing a marathon session of Civ 5 the last few days. I'm on turn 1025. I have a fast computer, but it literally takes like 5 full minutes to load this game. However, that's not the real issue. Today, I got back into the game, but immediately noticed a visual bug. My tile improvements on part of my map aren't showing. Specifically farms. The tile just shows plains or grasslands, and not the farm improvments. Mouseover reveals that it's there (the text I mean) but no farm graphic. Oddly, as I said, this is just in part of the map. I'm on a pangea, and I started on the west coast. It's the newer cities to the east where this is happening. I've quit and reloaded the game, but it didn't help. I've gone into strategic view and back out, but that didn't work either. Any suggestions? It's not a huge deal, but I keep thinking I see an area where I need to send a worker, and then turns out I don't.

While I'm at it, is there any way to improve performance? A mod or something? When I finish my turn, it takes at least half a minute (which doesn't sound like a lot, I know) to cycle thru all the AI turns. As I said, I have a pretty fast computer, and don't have issues like this in any other game.

Farms are buggy, buy I think it's dependant on what GPU you use. For example I have had that "invisible farms" bug in my gaming PC since the Civ V was released. I have always used AMD Radeon graphics cards. To my surprise, my laptop has no issues with graphics, though it uses only Intel integrated graphics. I have buggy farms with my laptop only rarely, but they will correct themself automatically when map is moved or turn changes. Just my two cents: Buggy farms are graphics card driver issue, mostly affecting AMD Radeon cards. I don't know if there are any issues with NVidia cards though.

Civ V is very CPU intensive, and nothing is enough. I have watercooled i7 980X six core HT overclocked to 4.4GHz and turns are still taking ages. Only way to fasten the AI turns is to use quick movement and quick combat.

Also using AMD Radeon. No issues with any other games. Guess I'll just have to live with it. First time it's happened to me in Civ 5. It's odd, because other improvements, i.e. mines, roads, railroads, etc, show up just fine. Just the farms I can't see, and again, just on one section of the map.
