Issue with language in CIV V

Hello everyone
I have this problem with civilization V is that the game does not change the language while I did change it in settings. I am playing on Macbook (please don't have me for that) and I really don't know what to do.
If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please write in the discussion.

Are you trying to change it mid game? I know sometimes settings get locked once you begin.

I never had to change the language, so I wouldn't notice if it was bugged

Not at all, I was planning to do that before the "match started"

Go to game library, right click the game, select properties and then go to the "Language" tab

I did that, still didn't work

What language you are trying to use? Mac/Linux version made by Aspyr doesn't support all languages.

It's said in the store page:

Note: The Mac and Linux + SteamOS versions of Sid Meier's Civilization V are available in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish only.
