Which one is better 5 or 6?
So I have had 5 in my library for a while but just recently got interest on trying it out again. I also got 6 for free on EpicGames. Which one do you guys recommend most? They both have large volume of very positive feedback. Just want to know which one you guys prefer most between the 2.

Cheers!

I like CivV because of the "slide-into-home" {ANY fractional MP to enter next hex} feature in movement rules ;
in VI, if you DON'T have the full MP to get into that next hex ... you WILL get caught out in the open .

civ6 is a more complicated civ5, if you did not like civ5 you may not like civ6 either

A Civilization game that's DLC life is complete is usually better and is worth investing than a new game that is still getting updates and content. So Civ 5

I personally wouldn't want to get really invested into Civ 6 just to have a patch or major content drop drastically change the game from what I originally learned.

I agree. Having played a little Civ 6 with no DLCs, I went back to Civ 5. Maybe when all the DLCs for Civ 6 are released, I will try it again.

Awesome! good feedback from everyone. I didn't know any of that stuff. I think I'll start again with 5 then. Thank you.

i played VI for a little while then started playing V again. The worst part of VI for me was all the outlying parts of the city taking up useful land and being more vulnerable. Much prefer to have the parts of my city inside my city.

I hope you also asked this on the civ6 forums to try and balance your answers. Most here are likely going to say 5, while over there most will say 6.

Personally I just can't get into 6 like I did with 5. The map 6 has looks wonderful and I like the little animations for the units. But the way it does movement drives me up the wall and the way it make the leaders look.... Most just have this annoying overdone cartoony look I can't get used to. But others?
Do. Not. Like. Civ6 Gandhi's face alone is the stuff nightmares are made of.
