Is the complete edition worth it?

It's on sale for $10 right now and I was wondering if it was worth it?? I haven't played very much of Civ 5 since I bought it last year, but I always kind of thought about trying it, but with it not having any real matches for vanilla multiplayer, I gave up..

Is this worth getting for $10? Or should I spend my money on something else? (Salt and sanctuary primarily, as I'm a dark souls fan.)

Complete is a far better game than vanilla. I'd say it is well worth the sale price (but then I have almost five thousand hours in the game so I may be slightly biased).

the complete addition has all the dlc that adds religion, caravans, new civ's and so much important and fun stuff that they added it to civ 6

I paid 13-14 Canadian worth it. I am still learning how to play. I have found out twice now late game I kinda suck and don't really know what to do I am all over the place.

It's not worth to buy the vanilla, it's only worth to buy as complete. Vanilla game is not that good, I played it only about 200 hours and started to hate it, then played another 200h Gods&Kings and few thousand hours BNW.

Vanilla has many frustrating game mechanism, like way too random combat, very bad naval warfare etc. Bad combat mechanism was the main reason why I started to hate the vanilla and stopped playing Civ V for a while. I think I have played the game almost every week after I bought the G&K expansion...
