Is it still worth the buy?

I already own Civ 6 and it's one of my favorite games. But for the steam summer sale Civ 5 and all the DLC is only $12. So is it worth getting the old version for such a steal of a price or should I spend that money somewhere else?

According to many. Civ 5 is better. It is a good deal and I would personally recommend it.

Most people seem to think 5 is better than 6.

I love 5, and have no intention of getting 6 until it's rated as highly.

Brave New World is the way to play 5. Vanilla and Gods and Kings are bland in comparison.

Yes, it's worth it. It's in its final, polished form. Get everything. Just like this, after five years some lucky person will be able to buy Civ VI Complete for peanuts.

I bought civ 5 after buying civ 6. Aside from late game, there's literally nothing better about civ 5, since civ 6 isn't missing any major features.

Don't fall for the "civ 5 is so much better" meme like I did.

I prefer civ 5 because it feels more like classic civ game, and has a more serious take on it compared to civ 6. Also, the expansions for civ 5 have been fantastic and I cannot say the same for civ 6. *cough* Australia *cough* But either way this is just my opinion and I don't see why you are calling this a hoax or meme, nobody is saying civ 5 is better to be funny they're saying it because they actually believe it is.

although civ 5 isnt the most well balnced game ist still way better than civ 6. i also played civ 4 and civ revelution on the sbox and by far civ 5 is the best.

hell yeah. After playing civ 6 and coming back you notice a lot of features you wish you had but you get used to it. But overall yes its very much worth the buy
