However I never use mods so YMMV :p
If a mod would open up a relevant entry to my game once in a while, I'd install it in a heartbeat!
Also I think it's a huge missed opportunity for that not to be part of the base game, since there's so much history in the Civilipedia and still most people don't use it regularly, as we see here :/
The ideal system would be to have a timer set up and once every half an hour (or maybe a configurable amount of time), it would just look up all of the relevant entries for the current game from your point of view and show you a not-previously-shown 'pedia article for you to read.
I'm a decent modder but I'm on Linux so I don't think Civ5 modding is an option for me right now. I'd definitely love it if someone thinks this is interesting and puts some work into a non-DLL mod!
As for me, I'll rarely-to-occasionally read some. I'd read them more often if I wasn't such a long, long time Civ player (since Civ 2) :) I will, of course, usually read the entries for fictional stuff added in mods, and I do appreciate the effort of all modders who provide at least a paragraph or two for the lore entries of their additions.
Ditto. Old school gamer, so used to thick and clunky manuals. How things have changed :)
