Help me sing Baba Yetu (CIV IV theme) in NY
*Delete if not allowed*

I have a huge favor to ask.

A choir in which I'm at, was invited to to sing (with others) Baba Yetu with the composer of the soundtrack Christopher Tin.

Since New York is very expensive (and we're from Europe/Slovenia) and we are looking to get money through donations. That's why we applied for a contest at Dormeo. Whoever gets the most "hugs", wins 1000€.

If you can, I'd be really happy if you could give my choir a "hug" (every day in October).
You can give a hug in through this link (http://www.objemtopline.dormeo.net/). My choir is the third one, called Zborallica.

Click on the "Podarjam objem" (eng: gifting a hug) insert your email, open the email sent by info@igre.dormeo.net and click on the first link.

Which will redirect you to the first site again and you must click the "podarjam objem" button again for it to register a hug.

I will be really grateful if we can win, since I sang Baba Yetu various times already and I'm still playing CIV 5.

Definitely the wrong forum.

Also. Baba Yetu is not 'a composiition by Christopher Tin'. It's The Lord's Prayer in Swahili. You can find it on youtube.

Otherwise, good luck!

Yeah I know it's a prayer, but to my knowledge he did score the orchestra?
Nevertheless thank you :)

And he put a lot of hard work into that. Plus he pays the original composer handsomely for contributing. (Unlike, say, Beethoven's lazy handling of Ode to Joy. Schiller didn't get a penny for that!)

You're welcome.
