Do you guys think CIV 5 is better than CIV 6?
I'm thiking of buying CIV 6. One thing that is putting me off CIV6 is the cartoonish graphics.

Civ 6 just seems more casual-ish than Civ V.

Not really Civ6 is quite good already but Civ5 has two expansions and all kinda refinement behind it. Civ6 right now is miles better than Civ5 was at launch.

I still play civ 4, it has cartoonish graphics but i love that game so bad. If i was you i'd buy civ 6.

All Civ games have cartoon graphics.
I think Civ6 is very good, but has some bugs, it's not fully developed (needs many patches) and not complete (needs 2 big expansions and some minor DLCs), just like the other previous Civ games did.
Civ games are not simulators, they are 100% strategy games. You may laugh at the cartoon graphics, but when some leader declares war and his army starts advancing towards your land, you tremble in fear and think he is not cartoonish at all.

Civ 5 is more polished. I think it's too early to make a call on Civ 6 yet since everyone agrees that it is an incomplete product until all the DLC gets released.
Civ 5 is better, but civ 6 has no expansion packs yet

Same here, CIV 6 LOOKS like something for smartphones or tablets, although I believe it has good game mechanics, but for me, major minus is that graphic style.

Civ 6 has proved a serious disappointment after being with the Civ franchise from 1. Civ 6 has cartoonish graphics, sluggish platform and clunky operation. Operations that took one click now take 3 ......and add the processing time to that makes it overall much less responsive than V. It is slow and looks like a kids game. If you enjoy V, I wouldn't recommend buying VI which is like going backwards.

Civ VI has better graphics than V in nearly every way. And Civ V's interface makes Windows 3.1 look like a revolutionary advancement.

I'm not sure why it has to be binary (one or the other). They are all good and, thankfully, they are all different.

Civ 6 just feels unfinished. The graphics I don't mind but the movement rules are terrible.
Everything feels slow, clunky and unfinished. You cant for instance circumnavigate the globe.
The AI want to fill every square inch of the map without a city on it with barbarians.
To top it off they are putting female leaders in the game no one has ever heard of to
appease the PC SJW's.

You can circumnavigate though and the only unknown female leaders are for civilizations that are unknown to begin with.

I wantd to start playing Civ again after being away from it for quite some time. But for some reason I wasn't able to install Civ IV on either W7 or 10.

I didn't want to buy VI, due to all the very negitive reviews I read from here, so for 12 and change I purchased Civ V + a ton of expansion packs off of Steam.

Noticed a few changes in V over IV, but nothing I'm not able to adjust to so far. The one thing that does bug me is the 1UPT as opposed to being able to stack units as in Civ IV.

Maybe I'll give the newer version some time to develope and give it a try later down the road.
Right now, V has been enjoyable to play.
