Marathon - My Game Time
If you play a Domination-only game in the Information Era on a Huge map, it might take you a few weeks to finish.
If you turn off all victory conditions and try to be peaceful with everyone and hostile to conquerors, it can technically be infinite.
I started off with marathon, picked the biggest map setting, included about 12 to 13 other AI civs.
took my own time to learn the game and understand how the game basically works.
EDIT: I also push for fast science victories, so those are the 6 hour games.
