Is it worth buying all the dlc?

So quick question, i have the basic game but i haven't play it because i heard the best way to play civ5 is with all dlc, i don't have that much money so i was wondering if is it true? should i buy the dlc?.

Gods and kings/Brave New World are FANTASTIC expansions not just great civ expansions, some of the best expansions in videogames they add an incredible amount of content and new civs, the other smaller dlcs such as map packs arent needed as i personaly just play on the randomly generated ones but those two are great and well worth it

the best thing to do, and i have never looked back is get the community patch for this game. Honestly its the best thing since sliced bread.

You can ONLY buy the DLC. Most mods require them and the game is abismally empty without DLCs.

Brave New World is what you needs to get a good CIV 5 expereience. Anything else is opntional. Mods such as InfoAddict could operate withouth full DLCs.

I just got the game with all of the DLC on sale for $12 and I can say 100% certain that it is worth it. Actually best $12 I've ever spent.

I don't remember what bundles added what. I just know the base game sucks. imo, religion is ok but can be pointless or even annoying sometimes. All the art stuff is stupid. So tldr: 1st expansion yes, 2nd is up to you.
