DirectX9,10,11-Windows 8. What?
I got a new laptop early this month, and I hadn't run Civ V since I bought it. Today I tried and it asked me why version of Civ V i wanted to run. DirectX 9, DirectX 10, or Windows 8. In running Windows 10 and truly have no idea what this is trying to say. (Sorry, new to this PC world)

Direct X is for more Graphik feature.If Your card is able to Handle Direct X11 and the Laptop noise is ok for you..just try it.

i just tried DirectX 10. i'm runnin on a GTX1060 and it workd fine. Thanks for the reply.

With a new machine, running Win10 and a GTX 1060, your best option is indeed the DX10/11.
