I think using Linen makes sense. 1. You probably have a lot of it, and 2. it's easy enough to make from Flax and makes you work a little bit more to get some Jute. My thoughts on using the items I mentioned is that Jute should be unlocked AFTER getting Linen and to add another use to items that currently have only one or two uses at best. Let's face it, if you spend any amount of time in the Mistlands you're gonna wind up with a LOT of blood clots or potentially so. Maybe instead of Troll hide you can use Seeker carapace? (think of it as being ground into a powder?) Jute is currently not a renewable material and I just think it'd be nice to be able to make some on demand.
Hildir could sell the dye after we killed the queen. So as another reward for finishing the mistlands we get a way to craft blue jute ourselves.
I'd agree on the blood clots for red jute and the flax as base material.
Maybe even introduce black jute, dyed with charred bones?
