Absolute Trash Game Now - Impossible to Enjoy
This game is ruined, you cannot more than land anywhere in the new land and you get gang stomped before you can barely cut a piece of wood. I could give two libbies what those few discussion board trolls who whine about how you should ignore those whining about how its too hard, No, its unplayable now. I will not spend days reloading or corpse running just to keep dying to gain a foothold in some new lands. Thats not fun, its not desirable, its not acceptable.

If you want to add an insane mode for the crybabies who sit in here not actually playing the game while they pretend to be experts all the while complaining about those who do want to play who not being able to play do so or have no desire to just die over and over. But make it playable again for those who are not interested in having all of their spare gear piled on an island where there are a multiple dozen spots waiting to add to your deaths and make additional piles of your gear.

I will be back when you pull your games head out of the elitist trolls (who cant really play, just pretend too) arses and make it playable again.

there is lore stones in ashlands aswel. found 3 different ones so far.

i am also wondering why the boss altar is called "the emerald flame" thats inconsistent with the rest of the games boss locations which always say the bosses NAME but here its not his name.

yeah, maybe they're outcasts? haven't found a lore stone that says much about these ones, maybe a different tribe? I like how they have different clothes and their base are filled with crates that holds flametal and brain tissue, etc... they don't have their own homes either, it's always a ruin that they built some defence in, which leads me to believe they aren't native there but migrated, maybe in search of the rest of the dvergrs since in the mistland it says that these ones were left behind or something.
Just remember: In the words of Ulf the Wise. Do not take the hats from the short one's heads. It will permanently enrage them and they will try to kill you!
Oh, and their hats won't fit you. You know, it's extremely important to Ulf to record this on the stone.
LOL, sounds like he's talking out of experience ;)

I am going to guess: Yes. Because otherwise he would know that they do not forgive and the only way to deal with them at that point is to kill them.

I found only one lore stone and it said that the skeletons there turned their backs on the gods and started venerating the Emerald Flame instead which is the color of the bosses flame, so yeah, sounds like they started venerating a false god which turned their lands to fire since it also said that the ashland used to be a habitable place and all.

also, quick tip, the berserkir axes with the electric enchantment is very much lethal, pair that with a nature bow which can immobilise enemies and the electric polearm of the mistland at level 4 and you got a good mix of crowd management with the bow and the polearm and damage from the axe, haven't tried the other weapons yet.

that false god it speaks off is the winter child. they talk about it on another stone. and they said they found it way up in the frozen north. so i guess we will find out what this thing actually is in deep north.

I remember the name of the false god being used was the emerald flame, so I don't have that part of the lore. makes me want to go back in and dig a bit

wouldn't it be great if the winterchild turns out to be Fenrir (child of loki, who's a frost giant, so "winter child") and the frozen north is filled with the cult of the wolf

dont use the root with the bow. the bow has an INSANE attack rate at high skill levels. this means you get chain lighting silly often with it. the root is never worth it aside for super high hp targeta as the poisen is fully negated by most enemies beeing immune to poisen dmg.

its super useful to root lord reto tough given he hits like a cargo train you really dont wanna get meleed by him.

while it is useful to root a morgen the morgens weakness beeing LIGHTING again makes lighting win.

the axes are good if your axe skill is developed. but they lack large and knockback. the 1h swords secondary is still triple dmg and good range as before. and mistwalker really ♥♥♥♥♥ the charred up. but the new sword is also nice when it procs. sadly it doesnt most the time.

Speaking of Ashlands Lore: From what I've been able to discern so far... Gonna mark this as spoiler in case you want to maybe find out for yourself. Also, this is just a THEORY based on what lore stones I HAVE found.

Apparently the Ashlands used to be the most prosperous kingdom in the entire Tenth World. And their ruler was Fader, The Emerald Flame. Apparently he had a sort of father/son relationship with some other creature that they basically only refer to as a sleeping child. They apparently found this child in the Far North. They brought him back. But he must have been sick or something. Because he went to visit a Wizard king of the Fulings. However when he was gone, his own people torched his palace with the child inside... And when he got back he basically curled around the dying/dead child and then basically 'snapped'. He then more or less entirely raged out and torched the entire kingdom. And, the 'charred' are basically his mutated undead soldiers that are still loyal to him. But since they are clearly humanoid rather than dwarves like the Dverger... I'm not entirely sure what the relationship there is. But yeah, hell of a morbid tale there.

and then turns out that the reason they never use the word "fenrir" but fenris, is because this is an imitation of fenrir called Fenris, which is why he's a false god and now Odin uses him to let people prove their worth by defeating him, since he's recruiting einherjar for valhalla to defeat the actual Fenrir who is rumored to kill odin on Ragnarok

I dunno man, but I will tell you one thing. This game needs to be sued for false advertisement. I mean seriously. "Fenrings" THESE AREN'T THINGS I CAN PUT ON MY FINGERS AT ALL, THEY'RE HOMICIDAL WOLF MEN THAT TRY TO EAT MY FACE. I WANT SIZE TEN FENRING IN TITANIUM, NOT A HAIRY MUTT THAT TRIES TO MURDER ME D:<

I know the draugr who are also humanoid used to be an other great kingdom that made their greatness out of the iron they got from their mines and they defied the gods, so the gods cursed them and destroyed their land (freija salted the land, loki burned their mines etc...) and it's why their bodies are still wandering the land as draugr and their land is now only swamps and misery
