lol, sure bud....
and to the Topic Creator, i'd just use the seed generator like someone else suggested:
https://valheim-map.world/
Spawning in NPC's in games through console commands is a good way to screw up save files, that's console basics 101 in every game, but sure, go ahead.
spawning Haldor in Valheim will have ZERO affect on your save file.
i speak from experience in multiple worlds and thousands of hours played in Valheim.

so, pls.... leave the talking to those in the know.
how's your day going so far ?
it's going great....
are you accusing me of spreading misinformation???
im not,....in fact, i'm correcting misinformation....
You are spreading a great amount of misinformation, and i have proof, took me 10 minutes to present to you, more research time you ever did in your 1200+ hours of playtime.
This is what happens when you spawn him, he starts floating and his caravan, camping spot, pet and protective bubble never spawn:

This was a junk world i care nothing about, i used it to find silver necklaces, i can delete it for all i care. However, this is where he was SUPPOSED to spawn:

There is nothing, meaning that he has no designated spawn area naturally anymore cause you "found" him using console commands. Meaning if they ever make an update to change his camping site, you will have nothing which can be changed.
Your 1200+ hours of playtime means absolutely nothing to knowing what misusing console commands can do to a game when your only knowledge is using "spawn haldor" a few times in that 1200+ hours. You are the kind of person who uses console commands in games like Skyrim and then start whining on the forums why all your questlines are borked. I've dealt with people like you over a hundred times, take your own advice and "leave the talking to those in the know."
NEVER use "spawn haldor" in worlds you care about, you'll just screw up your future progress, there is a reason you can't alter his spawning place, for if they ever update it you will have those updates.
whatever man... i gave the OP my advice in the first post i made. i didnt mention console commands or mods....in fact my post has probably been the most helpful considering i linked to the site itself.
Check it.
i corrected the other dude when he said "spawning Haldor screws up your game save..."
it doesnt.
that's all there is to it.
and no, you did not mention mods to begin with, you just stated that it does not break the world save at which you were corrected, you then stated everyone else was wrong because WITH mods, you could do it without breaking the world save (which is not what OP asked for) and now it's what ever for you ? not even standing up for your mistakes when you are called out on it. grow a little man, at least try to better your self.
We suggest using the world reveal site to find the trader.
On the website under Visible layer drop down menu, select "No terrain ( Fog ) to not reveal the landmass and just the trader to keep the mystery.
then select trader below, it will show possible location's of the trader that you can visit.
The world and char files are distinct, and they are easy to back up. if some command trashes the world, restore it and try something else. Even If it seems to be working, keep the backup just in case.
- since the world and char are distinct, you can even summon, buy & sell, and restore the world, and still have your items, worst case scenario. Even floaty fubar vendor isn't going to sell you corrupted items or something.
- if you are cheating, why go through all this crap, why not just summon the vendor items directly into your bag?
