In 10 years Nintendo will gonna sue some poor guy for breathing same air with their CEO.
Lawyers feed off legal disputes.
Legal disputes are not being validated by the very basic common sense prior to being accepted for being... how do you call it in English... reviewed and judged by court.
People are suing each other over absurd things left and right.
It doesn't mean that they win. Not often, at least, and thanks goodness.
On-topic, I've never tried Palworld.
As of Valheim, I do recommend sticking with it if you have soft spot for antique Nordic culture, backed by unforgiving combat and an option to shape the world as you like.
It's basically Stardew Valley for people which miss days when honor was a thing and power indeed meaned responsibility.
(i. e. somewhat grindy, combat intense, with elaborate yet satisfying building, and the only potentially bangable entity dumps you at the very beginning of the game)
You might consider looking somewhere else otherwise.
Nintendo did go after a modder that used their assets and was issued a cease and desist.
if Nintendo was going to go after palworld, they would have already.
There are official statements about this by Nintendo as well. so please do not spread any falsehood's about their legality.
It'll take longer than 2 hours to properly experience what Valheim offers, so I would suggest trying Palworld first and refunding that if you don't like it.
valheim is not.
different gameplay concept aswell.
valheim has WAY more detailed building.
You'd be better served watch let's play videos and streams to see what the game play is like for each(because of the differences) and seeing what subjectively matches your wants best.
This is completely false. Nintendo simply said (and vague I might add as it didnt even cite by name palworld) that they simply were looking into a game that people have brought to their attention. That was almost a month ago now and no lawsuit has come from it.
Japan also in country tends to have judges discourage lawsuits to the point that the majority of cases brought forth(when they get that far.... most dont) go through first a lawyer to lawyer settling on behalf of the clietns. If that then doesnt fly, then judges will make the litigants use a court appointed mediation instead with the mediator giving a settlement result, and then in the more rare instance from there it'd get litigated in front of a judge/panel of judges. Basically, its not gonna happen.
