Berries do respawn but...

Hi there guys, I just discovered it and wanted to share with you guys:

I went back to my blueberry spots for the second time ever and I saw them not respawning. Yes, it was way over 500 munites timer and didnt cut the bushes. So when I saw my first spot there bushes didnt spawn berries BUT they did respawn after 20ish seconds when I stood next to them. Every other spot I pathed after that did the same. Thus, if you see your berries dont respawn again, just sit or wait next to next to them for few secs and the bushes suddenly pops the berries.

Nice find. You have to keep the chunks updated. If you never visit, they sit in stasis.

Did you go back via a portal that took you right next to the bushes?

I see that happening quite often when teleporting in an area. The game needs a few seconds to calculate that veggies, trees, bushes,etc should grow or have fruits.
