Was that it's first update?
The devs have said that future large updates should be quicker than Mistlands took (which was about a year). They plan to add at least 2 more biomes, and a rework of the ocean seems to be planned at this time.
If you're hoping to pick it up when "1.0" drops, then it is still a ways off. However, the game is very playable and has dozens, if not hundreds, of hours of content. And once you've had your fill, there's an active modding community at work as well.
Its more about im sceptical about games that are in early access because i swear none of them ever come out of it or the devs never actually update a game in early access. That said I appreciate the answer.
Thank you, good day.
Many do end up coming out, but a few also never do and or fail out right.
There is no guarantee a game in EA will finish. Which is stated on a games EA information on the store page.
So if you are worried about it, put the game on your Wishlist and follow from the store page.
If the devs would put a 1.0 sticker on the game right now, i wouldnt be outraged. The game is stellar, so much content for the price tag, im not even sure why they didnt try to double the price.
Do yourself a favor and give it a try, Steam refund policy is applicable. Though you wont be able to stop playing after you start :)
