No Treasure Chest here

I dug down about 10 hits with the pickax and nothing. Is there always a chest in the shipwreck standing stones area? All I found was a few bones.

If ur talking about the stones layed out like a ship. Yes there should be a chest buried in all of them. U may have to dig out more to find it.

There's also a wishbone u can use to find it saving alot of time.

I don't think it's every time. We've found a few on my server with nothing, even after digging down quite a ways and then searching with the wishbone afterwards.

Some ships carry treasure, some ships don't.

I dug up 3 ship wreck stone and found a chest in all of them

There is not always a chest. Sometimes there is just bones and sometimes nothing at all.

Yeah, I've found a few without chests. No biggie, nice supply of fine wood.

I started a new playthrough last night, and almost immediately found a pair of sunken ships. I got 44 fine wood with my flint axe, but looking for the chests will have to wait until I can make a pick. :-)

I see a finewood bow in my future!

note: if you break the chest with your digging, the items may be hard to spot or fall through the dig a bit etc. They break in 1-2 hits with higher level pick.

After collecting 2 full stacks of silver necklaces i can guarantee anyone here, that it seems that there is a chest in about 65-75% of them

Only wish a unique item would had been in the chest, so not really much of point to dig for really. Unless you just started the game.

!00% of the time you will find one of or a combination of two of skeletal remains, a necklace and a chest. Best tip I can give you for finding them is concentrate on the end quarters of the grave, never in the middle.

Not all, but most have a chest. I think all have "Something" but tbh, why bother? Lol. I already have a massive treasure horde at my plainsbase.

There are multiple drops you can get for the rock ships.
There might just be a silver necklace
There might be a chest
There might be bones
There might be 'treasure' at both ends
